Water Resource Engineer
Position Description
Spring Hill is seeking an Environmental Scientist to independently manage and carry out broad responsibilities in support of ecological restoration and water resources projects. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual seeking long-term growth opportunities. Remote work flexibility with infrequent travel for site visits and meetings in the region.
Primary Duties
-
Field work – site surveys and investigations, construction inspection
-
H&H modeling – flood studies, stability analysis, 2D modeling experience preferred
-
Design – aquatic resources restoration, SWM, water quality BMPs, E&S
-
Drafting – AutoCAD Civil3D experience preferred
-
Technical writing – proposals, studies, technical reports, permit applications
Qualifications
-
PE license or EIT cert. preferred
-
H&H modeling and analysis
-
Ecological restoration design
-
Stormwater management design
-
AutoCAD Civil 3D – plans, grading
-
Field work and surveying
-
Geomorphic investigation
-
Project management
-
Permitting and compliance:
-
PA DEP Ch. 102 & 105;

USACE / Section 404
-
Municipal Ordinances
